Eulalie Elizabeth Reed is haunted by lots of things…

Paths not taken. Failed relationships. Mistakes. Fears. Hopes. But she’s never been properly haunted before. That’s about to change.

The Way We Haunt Now is a lighthearted horror audio drama about friendship, found family, and fighting the narratives that try to define us – even in the afterlife. Oh, and ghosts. Did we mention ghosts?

Seasons One and Two are available now on all major podcast platforms. Season Three is coming March 2024, and is supported in part by an award from the Vermont Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts.

What a great show! It’s scary but not in an in your face way, and it feels very grounded and human… Really love the characters here too and I’m so glad I discovered this show. Looking forward to more!

Black background with a haunted phonograph

This is a gentle horror podcast, one that leans into the intimacy of audio with Eulalie’s discovery of an old phonograph. The Way We Haunt Now is a slow build, matching its lonely and foggy mood.”

Listening to @HauntNowPod and YAY! Disabled ghost brought her wheelchair to the afterlife and gdi YES! GOOD! More of this! Less of the bullshit “in death they’re free from their [mobility device/assistive tech]”!

I’m really enjoying listening to this beautifully told ghost story develop. [Courtney] is excellent at creating moments of creeping horror but also allowing wonderful moments of light and warmth!”
